The results of the election of our new officers are in!
This has been an exciting process, and finally the results are in. Be ready for the 2011/2012 Shorter University International Society (SUIS) Officers!
Here are the results:
There were 36 participants of the vote:
1. President
a. Micaela de Freitas = 21 votes
b. Waithira Mwaura = 15 votes.
Congratulations, Micaela de Freitas is the PRESIDENT of Shorter University International Society 2011/2012.
2. Vice President
a. Courtney Liddell = 15 votes
b. Micaela de Freitas = 21 votes
Because Micaela de Freitas has been the President, so Courtney Liddell is the Vice President of Shorter University International Society 2011/2012. Congratulations!
3. Courtney Liddell was also a candidate for secretary and the treasurer. However, she cannot hold more than one position in the society. So, we decided that the President and the Vice President are given right to pick the persons who are going to be the secretary and the treasurer of the society. The choosing process should not take more than 5-7 days, and report the names to Faculty Advisor, Mrs. Linda Palumbo. The sooner the better.
For those of you who are interested, please contact Mr. Micaela and Ms. Courtney ASAP.
